The grinding phase has the greatest importance in the cereals processing chain, producing flours for human and animal nutrition, by handling residual products and producing derivatives.

Materials Pneumatic Conveying Fans. In grain production plants, vacuum systems for mechanical draught are very important for the transportation of raw materials and finished products. High pressure radial fans and blowers are employed for mechanical draught and pneumatic conveying of grains and wheats in feed mills, for storage and packaging.

Grain Dryers. Industrial radial fans for low pressure air flow with high energy efficiency find application for the regulation of the product humidity level. It is a conditioning treatment to guarantee the perfect desiccation for stock of cereals to improve the extraction rate of flour and a treatment against mould for storage and silos. Industrial radial fans are widely used with continuous flow dryers for grains and oleaginous seeds. In this application industrial fans direct air on the manufactured product to obtain uniformity of the drying process.

Reliability and resistance are basic requirements for the fans used in this sector, given the continuity of the production cycles. Likewise, electric motors are in turn subject to intense functioning and must offer the utmost guarantee of duration over time, since the plants are often situated in remote locations.

Explosion-proof fans. Explosion-proof industrial fans and blowers may be mandatory because of zone classification (Hazardous Area). During transport and storage of cereals and grains or subsequent processing, explosive powders or dust may generate.
